Each January, the Merciful H.E.L.P. Center from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel parish in Carmel, Indiana, hosts CommUNITY Care Day at Holy Cross School in Anderson. This event supports hundreds of Madison County families with food, school supplies, and more. For 2025, it will be held on January 11th, and volunteers are essential for its success. St. Ambrose Church is in need of a Sacristan who can not only do the normal Mass duties but can also assist with laundering the altar linens, setting up for a funeral, and providing the church office with candle, host, and wine inventories. This year, the Christmas Midnight Mass for the Anderson parishes will be held at St. Ambrose. There will be a combined choir for this celebration. Practices will be held on December 15 and 22 at 10:45 am, immediately following the morning Mass at St. Ambrose. Join us! You do not have to have sung in a choir before or know how to read music in order to participate.
